ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....
I'm seriously at the point where I'm so tired that I'm having a very difficult time functioning. This semester has already proved to me that I'm pathetic! My classes aren't particularly difficult in any way, but they just take up SO much time! I was up until 2:30 this morning doing homework, and then I had to get up at 7 for my class this morning.
Not much esle is new... I'm trying really hard to have a social life, and so far it's working pretty good. Whenever I'm not in class or doing homework I'm usually out doing something with someone! So that's good! Keeping me semi sane at least! :) Any hints on time management between school, homework, church calling, and a social life let me know!!!!! :)

Sorry ya'll!
Hey! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. My life is one crazy after another! I really feel like I should have a lot of down time, but it always seems to escape me somehow! I only have a week and a half left of this semester (WOOHOO), but then next semester might possibly kill me! Though I'm excited because betweent he two semesters I get to spend a week down in Arizona!!! Arizona will be nice, because although it's warm there (not was warm as it's going to be when I move down there in August mind you) anything would be great compared to the freak snowstorm we recieved on Sunday!
Not much esle is new here. I started donating plasma this past week and my arm is displaying a brilliant bruise to show it! But honsetly the little bit of money coming in from it is amazing! Well... off to watch devotional and then class! :)

Critters and Cute Things!
So as many of you know I'm teaching preschool this semester for one of my practicum classes! I'm not going to say that this class isn't hard, because it's SUPER hard... and takes a LOT of work! BUT... here's the up side... I get to make super cute props for my lessons. If I had a camera I would take pictures of them so that everyone could see, because honestly I'm super proud of my creations! But... I will tell you a little about some of them. This next week I'm doing a week on bugs. Well there are some REALLY cute things that you can make for a lesson on bugs when you're talking to 4 year olds! I'm currently working on ladybug finger puppets that the children can wear as we sing a song about ladybugs. They are really simple and may not sound cute, but they actually turned out really cute! You take red felt and cut out a circle with a little bump at the top for the head and then just take a balck permanant marker and color in the head and makes some dots. Than all I did was buy some little elastic from Wal-mart and hot glued it on the back in a loop that the kids can slip over their fingers! They are DANG CUTE! I really think their fun! I also make spiders out of pipe cleaners (and yes I know... spiders are arachnids NOT insects... Kiffer was kind enough to point that out to me... but I decided it's not going to ruin a 4 year olds life to think that a spider is an insect!) I also made a super cute butterfly puppet out of a glove and felt. Anyways... Just wanted to share! If anybody wants to teach 3-5 year olds about bugs I've got some fun ideas that I gathered up for my lessons! :)

The Glorious Cycle of Life!
This weekend I got to go to Utah to see my family! It was awesome because all 23 1/2 of us were there!!!! My sister Melani is a drama teacher at Lehi Junior High and they were putting on the show the Pirates of Penzance this weekend! I don't know if any of you have ever gone to a play put on by a middle school, but usually they are kinda cheesy and not done very well. But alas, when one of my sisters is put in charge of something (especially if it's theatrical or creative) it turns out to be AMAZING! So needless to say the show was great! The costumes were awesome, the set rocked, the chorography was really fun, and the singing was about a good as you're gonna get at a junior high!!! :)
After the show my whole family got together up on the stage and took family pictures. I was surprised that with 10 kids it was still fairly quick and painless! Good job kids, I'm not sure I would have been able to stand there for more than like a minute when I was younger!!!!
The rest of the weekend I spent with my friend Babetta (super fun!). I also got to meet up with my cousin Derek who I haven't seen in literally 4 or 5 years! It was great to see him! :)
Now here's for a good adventure story... which Michael didn't seem to happy about, but honestly, life's more fun with a little bit of mystery and adventure right?! So last night on the way home Michael asked me to drive. Great! I love driving... and I had a lot on my mind, and driving is a good time to just listen to great tunes and think! So I'm driving and thinking, and listening to AWESOME Indie music (I like lots of kinds of music, but yesterday was definitely and Indie day!), anyways, I'd been driving for a good hour and half or so and Michael wakes up. He's like "Dianna, where are we?" And I was like, "I don't know... on the I-15 on the way back to Rexburg..?" So he just sat there for a few minutes in confussion, and then he turned to me and was like "no, dianna, we're on Highway 86 on the way to Twin Falls!" OOPS!!!! hahaha... so we pulled off into this small little town called Snowville (it was right on the border so I don't know if it was ID or UT) and Michael went in and got directions to get back to the I-15 without having to go through Twin Falls (which would have added probably a good 2 hours!) So we start driving down this fun old country highway for like 30 minutes till we get back to the I-15. Honestly I thought it was super fun!!!!!! :) And we still made it home in 4 hours and 45 minutes. So I told Michael he wasn't allowed to complain about it! :)
Here's the sad thing that came from this weekend. My niece Emily had the flu or something on Thursday when I got there, and this morning I think I woke up with it. NO FUN! I always seem to pick up everything that's getting passed around! The hard part about it is that I'm supposed to teach preschool tomorrow morning for part of my grade, and if I have the flu I can't do it, and I'm really not sure how that's gonna work out. AH for school!
Ok... so updates from my last blog. Well only one update really... KIFFER IS HOME!!!! Woohoo!!! He got home from his mission in Texas on Thursday! I haven't talked to him on the phone yet, but I've talked to him a few times online, and he seems a little shell shocked still. But I guess what can you expect after living a totally different lifestyle for two years, and then coming home and having everything change! I'm glad he's back though! :)

Life, Truffles, Family, and Missionaries
So I've just realized that I'm a COMPLETE slacker! Sorry all you blog readers out there!!! This is gonna be a short one still because I really should be doing my homework for my next class!!! On the subject of school, it's totally kicking my trash (aka I'm drowning!) But life is still good! My roommates this semester are AMAZING! It is really nice not having to worry about what life will be like when I go home from class everyday! On that same note, my FHE brothers are really awesome... I taught preschool yesterday for the first time. Tuesday night I was getting everything set up and ready for class the next morning and my fhe dad showed up and helped me set everything up, and then all his roommates helped me cut out all the shapes I needed for one of my activities! Needless to say I made them an AMAZING dessert last night to repay them! In fact.. here's the recipe... it's YUMMY!
1 pkg oreos (crushed)
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
2 pkgs white chocolate chips
some milk chocolate chips
Ok... so first you crush up the oreos and mix them with the cream cheese. Roll it into little balls and put on a pan in the freezer. Freeze for an hour or so until the balls are TOTALLY hard! Melt the 2 pkgs of white chocolate chips and dip the frozen balls into the white chocolate. Freeze again. Then drizzle melted milk chocolate on top! YUMMY TRUFFLES!!!! :)
Ok... for other news on my life... I get to go to Logan this Saturday to go to a friends reception and see my family that's there! Kiffer (kid I dated two years ago) gets off his mission two weeks from today! :) WOOHOO!!!!!!!! And honestly... that's about it! The rest of my life is filled with school and craziness!!!! :)

Random updates on a random life!
Let's see... other than being done with midterms there really isn't much going on. Unlike the normal Dianna that most of you know I don't really get out much anymore. In FACT on Monday night I got done with my homework and went to bed at 10:30... if you think that's bad... last night I crawled into bed around 9. Hahaha... I think I'm getting old or something! I always used to laugh at my sisters when they said they went to bed so earlier. But it's true what everyone tells you during your freshman year of college... "Go out and party now, because by the time you're a senior you're going to be so tired all you'll want to do it get your homework done so you can go to bed as early as possible!" Hahaha... I didn't think so freshman year... but never has a statement been so true!
Here's some good news... yesterday I went to my school advisor... I took a copy of my graduation plan... and I GET TO GRADUATE! WOOHOO! Mind you I still have to go to school Winter and Summer semester of this year, and then student teach in the Fall... but I see the blessed light at the end of a VERY long tunnel!
Let's see for my last little tidbit on my life... I've started listening to Christmas music FULLFLEDGE! I listen to it year round... but for the past few weeks, it's become a more and more frequent part of my music mix! I LOVE IT! Christmas music is truly one of the happiest things ever! Anytime you have a bad just slip in Michael McLeans The Forgotten Carols and enjoy and arousing sense of happiness! :) That's my happy thought for the day! :)

You have to kiss a lot of toads before you find a handsome prince.
So my best friend got married yesterday! Talk about a shocker! I guess it's just a rude awakening to me. I've gotten so set in my ways, and have always had her around so her getting married just totally upset my social circle! Talk about RUDE! :) Haha! I kept telling her and and her fiance (now husband.. WEIRD) before the wedding, that if he wasn't such a nice guy I would've fought him for her! But I decided that since she loves his so much, and he treats her so well I would just have to learn to share! :) Kristal Danielle Hunt Barnes, here's a tribute from me to you... I'm going to miss you terribly, but I'm glad that Josh is willing to share! :) Here are 10 reasons that I love you! :)
1. You make me smile even when I REALLY want to be mad!
2. I know that if I need a hug in the middle of the night you'll drag yourself out of bed just to give me one!
3. You love to love people... even when they annoy you!
4. You tell me to suck it up and deal with it when I'm being ornery!
5. You treat those around you like everyone is a prince or princess.
6. You love to be a little kid!
7. You watch stupid movies with me like High School Musical and sappy love stories!
8. Even when I was far away in New York you still called me every week, and made me feel loved!
9. When I was at the lowest part in my life you were there in a heartbeat. You lovingly called me an idiot and stood by my side until I was on my feet again!
10. You've been the best friend that I could EVER ask for!
My love is like a cabbage
That's easy to cut in two.
The leaves I'll give to others
But the heart I'll keep for you
That people come into our lives for a reason
Bringing something we must learn
And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
If we let them
And we help them in return
Well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
Because I knew you:
Like a comet pulled from orbit
As it passes a sun
Like a stream that meets a boulder
Halfway through the wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
But because I knew you
I have been changed for good
It well may be
That we will never meet again
In this lifetime
So let me say before we part
So much of me
Is made of what I learned from you
You'll be with me
Like a handprint on my heart
And now whatever way our stories end
I know you have re-written mine
By being my friend:
Like a ship blown from its mooring
By a wind off the sea
Like a seed dropped by a skybird
In a distant wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
Because I knew you
I have been changed for good!
Kristal... I love you more than words can describe! Honestly I don't know what I'm going to do without you by me all the time. I'm happy to share you with Josh though! Thank you for coming and crying with me on the first day of Kindergarten. It changed my life forever!

How many men does it take to screw in a light bulb.....?
So you ever had one of those night where there is ABSOLUTELY nothing to do? When all your friends go out of town leaving you behind to fend for yourself. That's pretty much my night right now.... it's just me and my roommate Bailey, sitting in our room trying to find something to do. I know it's hopeless when I've texted everyone in my phone to see what's going on... and I only get a few responses, saying that their going on dates, or hanging out with so and so, and there are no invitaitons thrown our way. While those people that we really wanna hang out with don't respond at all. What is that about?
So this week started out AMAZING! I got to go to Utah to visit my brother Stephen and his wife Rosie, and it was really fun! THEN I got to go on a GREAT date just to top off the end of the wknd! It really was just awesome.... then it all went KAPLOO. I find out that I had to stay in Rexburg for two days longer in order to take a mid-term. So on Thursday night I stood in the parking lot waving goodbye to all my girl friends from home and they leave to drive home for another friends wedding reception. Leaving me behind just WAITING for a chance to come home later. (which I'm SO glad my sisters are heading up on Saturday so I can go with them. I would have been REALLY sad if I couldn't have gone to the reception.)
THEN... I spend the rest of the week sitting around waiting for some sort of communication from the unknown land of boys. You know those weeks where you can't focus on ANYTHING... especially homework because there's just too many other things on your mind... that's this week, and let me tell you... that's FRUSTRATING. Especially when there is a pile of homework waiting to be done.
So I guess the question is... do I spend my friday night sitting in my room watching a movie with my roommate? Do I march over to someones apartment and DEMAND that someone come do something with me before I scream? Or do I go to the library and spend my precious Friday night in the books? I just don't know what to do.... But it is now 7:43 on a Friday night, and there are NO prospects for a fun night.....
